Onion Cut & Sewn is a made-to-measure clothing company founded and designed by Whitney Mero. As a very curvy woman, Whitney learned early on how difficult it was to find beautifully made, well-fitting clothing in standard retail sizing. She created Onion with real women and real lives in mind—offering an inclusive size range from 0–28 and custom lengths for clients up to 7 feet tall.

Every garment is crafted from scratch and tailored to an individual client’s precise measurements by a skilled maker, all at a reasonable price. Our growing collection of timeless essentials is rooted in a commitment to elegance, performance, and sustainability. We use high-quality materials and thoughtful, comfortable design to create durable pieces that are made to be lived in—not mass-produced.
